Laptop Power Connector Repair
Common problem found with laptop repairs is the laptop power connector. Often the laptop power connector fails resulting in no power or intermittent charging. You will have to wiggle the lead to get power onto your laptop or see the power charge light illuminate.
We will replace your connector with a more secure laptop power connector that solidly mounts inside the case, this ensures the strain that causes the manufacturers' original laptop power connector to fail is taken by the plastic case of the laptop rather than the delicate laptop motherboard. The only difference you might notice is a small nut surounding the connector which secures the laptop power connector.

Laptop Repair, Upgrade and Replacement Procedures
Laptop Motherboard : We do component level laptop repairs on laptop / notebook motherboards depending on the problem and the complexity of the repair to be carried out bearing in mind the cost.
Laptop Processor or CPU : Laptop CPU upgrade are done with faster CPU of the same type and model being installed; however, there can be limitations due to voltage, thermal, and/or BIOS support issues, and clock speed increases will normally be small, you will be adviced on these issues in relation to your laptop / notebook and you requirements.
Laptop Memory : Normally, only one or two SIMM / DIMM sockets are available. Laptop memory Upgrades are done on laptop repair services but occasionally we may need to remove lower-capacity existing modules to upgrade. We do not repair laptop memory modules, memory repair can not guarantee its 100% reliability and for this reason we replace faulty modules.
Laptop Graphics or Video adapter / chipset : Laptop graphics is normally integrated into a nonupgradeable motherboard.

Laptop Hard disk: Note : Older systems might not have BIOS support for drives larger than 8.4GB. We do laptop hard drive upgrade and you can still keep all your software and data as they are, the only difference you notice is the increase in hard drive capacity. We also do a data recovery service on damaged laptop hard drives.
Laptop Removable-media drives - floppy, CD/DVD, CD-RW/DVD+-RW : We install these internally via modular bays or use externall USB or IEEE 1394 (FireWire/i.LINK) drives. Repairs, Replacement and Upgrade possible. If you have a DVDROM you can always upgrade to a DVDRW interna or external.
Laptop USB, IEEE 1394 (FireWire/i.LINK), serial (RS-232), parallel (IEEE 1284), SCSI, connectors : Upgrade are done be installing these device via PC Card / CardBus or ExpressCard adapters. Laptop LAN 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet connectors : Upgrades are done by installing via a PC Card or CardBus adapters. We do Ethernet LAN replacement repairs to component level.
Laptop Wireless 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth : Upgrade by installing via PC Card, CardBus, Mini PCI (internal) cards, USB or mobile daughter cards (MDCs). Internal cards may require preinstalled antennas. Repair and replacement done depending on the level of problem and cost.
