SEO Strategy

We optimize your content for how and why your customers search and we find this is a much more robust and long-term strategy. Optimizing for how people search, is in fact also optimizing for search engines.

How Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) works

SEO has become popular, and it is now more important than ever to carefully follow all the ethical standards of SEO. Do the wrong thing and your website can be banned from the search engine. SEO should always be performed in a consultative approach. It is not a matter of blindly submitting to the major search engines. Instead, it takes careful analysis of keywords, writing of pertinent articles and website optimization, all of which takes time and dedication.

Broadly speaking, SEO can be divided into two main categories: On-Page optimization and Off-Page optimization. We will explore both here:

On-Page Optimization

Search engines will attempt to catalog your site (known as "spidering"), based on your site content. It is therefore very important that your site clearly tells the search engine how it should be cataloged. This is done in numerous ways, and includes using the appropriate keywords (and paying attention to the keyword proximity, density and prominence), proper title tags, meta tags, image tags and many other techniques. Each page needs to be optimized individually. A golden rule to remember is that search engines optimize pages, not sites. Each page in your site should be optimized for one or two relevant keywords only.

Off-Page Optimization

Arguably, off- page optimization is as big if not bigger than on-page optimization. Off-page optimization includes all "external" factors that will influence your ultimate positioning on the search engines. As an example, if many respected websites link to your site, then your site will automatically be considered worthy of a good search engine ranking (provided your on-page optimization is up to par). As with on-page optimization, off-page optimization consists of numerous techniques, all of which must be followed consistently.
